Butterton is a picturesque village in the Staffordshire Moorlands, nestled above the breathtaking Manifold Valley within the renowned Peak District National Park, our village is a haven for nature lovers. With its picturesque surroundings, there are no shortage of local attractions to explore. Thor's cave is just a stone's throw away within the Manifold Valley and nearby are popular destinations such as Alton Towers, Peak Wildlife Park, and the stunning Dovedale Valley. Additionally, our village's convenient location makes it easy to visit nearby towns and landmarks including Leek, Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock, and the magnificent Chatsworth House.
